Complete redesign of a snowboard boot, developed from the outsole to the closure system.
The project introduces a more urban-inspired aesthetic, concealing advanced technology within a clean and contemporary look. The boot integrates a dedicated ankle retention system, combined with a fast and smooth sliding shell closure, designed for intuitive and efficient use.
The inner liner was entirely re-engineered, with new shapes and materials aimed at improving fit, comfort, and performance. The result is a snowboard boot that balances technical innovation, ergonomics, and style, redefining functionality through a refined, urban visual language.
For Northwave, my role extended beyond the design and development of snowboard boots, bindings and boards. I was also responsible for key communication assets, including catalogues, advertising campaigns and content creation, ensuring a consistent visual language across all touchpoints.
To support international sales meetings and product presentations, I developed a series of dedicated video contents designed to clearly communicate the project's key features, technologies and innovations. These tools helped transform complex product information into engaging and effective storytelling, making the collection more accessible and impactful for distributors, retailers and partners worldwide.
